Floyd Eugene “Gene†Buckner, age 85 of Alton, MO was born April 30, 1931 at Winona, MO and passed away May 10, 2016 at Ozarks Medical center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; his wife Glenna Tillman-Buckner, four children, Randy Buckner, Kathy Buckner, Karen Bridges and Shelly Pliler, six grandsons, two granddaughters, one great-grandson, three sisters, Carol Tinker, Wanda Baney, Annie Conner, one brother, Bobbie Buckner, numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Buckner and Gertrude Lay-Buckner, two sons, Ricky and Terry Buckner, one brother, Dwayne Buckner, two infant brothers and one infant sister. Services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, with Bro. Dakota Bates officiating, burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wesley E. Buckner, Dustin C. Buckner, Dakota Q. Bates, Joe E. Davis, Brian D. Bridges and Doug Bridges. |
