Jean Dethrow Weeks, daughter of Ray Dethrow and Vie Caldwell Dethrow was born at Jobe, MO September 16, 1921 and departed this life May 7th, 2016 at the home of her son in Tecumseh, MO.

She spent her first 21 years in the Jobe Community. On June 23, 1948 she was married to Reuben Weeks of Kansas City, MO. Jean and Reuben moved to California and that was their home until 2005, when she moved with her son to Tecumseh, MO.

Jean is survived by two sons, Ray Weeks of Tecumseh, Donald Weeks and wife Gail of Utah, four grandchildren, Tina Greco, Christy Myers, Michael and Jason Weeks, three great-grandchildren, Nicoletle Shafia, Mathew and Michelle Myers, one brother, Dale Dethrow of Tecumseh, MO, five nieces, two special friends Mary Lee Dethrow and Norma Jean Dethrow, three nephews and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one sister Maxine, two brothers, Myles and Ray Dethrow, one sister-in-law Beulah Dethrow.

Funeral and burial will at 10:00 am Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Cotton Creek Cemetery, under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
