Vernon B. Bradford was born March 27, 1936 to Lee and Eula Smith Bradford in Porter, OK. His race on earth finished April 18, 2016 at his home near Alton, MO. Survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of over 60 years, May Beth Rasberry Bradford, his children, Peter L. Bradford, wife Carmen and children of Shreveport, LA, Debra L. Clark, husband Jim of Alton, MO, Jeffery L Bradford of Mooringsport, LA, Roger M Bradford, wife Tammie, and children of Jefferson, TX, grandchildren, Amy Deschler, Wesley Evans, Jeremy Bradford, Shawna Bradford, Tess Bradford and Madeline Bradford, great-grandchildren, Daily, Judson, Caiden, Dirk, Grady and Emerson, brothers, Bill Bradford, Dale Bradford, wife Leigh Anne, Dan Bradford, all of Shreveport, LA, sister-in-law, Doris Bradford, a multitude of of nieces and nephews and a host of great friends. Preceded in death by his parents, son Gregory Vernon Bradford and granddaughter Rebecca Lynn Bradford, brothers. Lee, Ben and Don Bradford, sisters and spouses, Lucille and John Kelly, Valleri and John Roosa, sisters-in-law, Paulette Bradford and Mary Ann Bradford. He retired to the beautiful Ozark Hills where he relished soaking in the solace of nature’s beauty, enjoying its witness of the Creator. Besides family and friends, his greatest blessings were received carrying out a mission of service and helps to others. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of a public memorial service, to honor his memory, the family requests condolences offered be in the form of an “intentional random act of kindnessâ€. MAY YOU BLESS AND BE BLESSED. |
