Frankie Lea Simmons, age 61 of Thayer, MO, was born June 14, 1954, at Mammoth Spring, AR, and passed away April 11, 2016, at her home. Survivors include: her mother, Patsy Brewer-Griffith; a brother, Patrick Simmons; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Simmons, Jackson Simmons, Amanda Owens, Kara Simmons, J.J. Simmons; and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death: her father, Ed Simmons; two brothers, Jackie and Edward Simmons; her grandparents, Jack and Inez Simmons; Ward and Emma Brewer. Frankie enjoyed life and her family and friends. She loved reading and working at the Thayer Fun and Friends Center, where she volunteered for many years. She will be truly missed by her family and the community in which she lived. She was a Christian, putting her complete faith in Jesus Christ. Services will be 2pm Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with visitation noon until service time. Burial will be in the Cotton Creek Cemetery.
