Cathy Jean Delaney, age 68 of Mammoth Spring, AR, previously living in the Peoria, IL, area from 1972 until 1991, was born May 12, 1947 in Oswego, NY, and passed away September 9, 2015, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, AR. Survivors include: her husband, Michael, of the home; 1 daughter, Candice Blattel of South Carolina; 2 granddaughters, Tristan Whitehead and Tamara Bryant; 2 great-granddaughters, Kayla Whitehead and Addison Barwick; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Kenneth C. and Bernice (Durfey) Larkin; 1 sister, Phyllis Manaugh. Cathy enjoyed flowers and gardening, as well as bird watching. She never met a stranger, loved reading books and listening to music, but most of all loved her family. A funeral service will be help 7pm Saturday, September 12, 2015, with visitation from 5pm-7pm prior to the service, with burial at a later date in South Carolina. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
