Reverend Bobby Dean Frey entered this life August 3, 1934 in Alton, Missouri, and he took his final journey September 7, 2015 at Tri-County Care Center in Vandalia, Missouri.

He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in the Korean War. He was an ordained minister with the Southern Missouri District of the Assemblies of God.

He married his sweetheart, Anna Jean Johnson of Alton, Missouri, on December 20, 1955. He is survived by his wife, Anna; two children, daughter Frances Kay Swope of House Springs, Missouri, and son Phillip Dean Frey and wife Deanna of Vandalia, Missouri; Five grandchildren, Cassandra May Johnson and husband David of St. Charles, Missouri, John Robert Hamblen of Carrollton, Missouri, Rebekah DeAnn Cook and husband Michael of Columbia, Missouri, Sean Wayne Hamblen and wife Nicole of Carrollton, Missouri, and Phillip Cory Frey of Vandalia, Missouri; Eight great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces; three sisters, Jewelene Grooms of Thayer, Missouri, Christine Pauli and husband John of Thayer, Missouri, and Mary Jane Honeycutt of Thayer, Missouri, and one brother, Bill Frey and wife Linda of St. Charles, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his father Leamon Cordy Frey, his mother Martha Lee Greer Frey, and one brother-in-law Eddie Honeycutt, and other aunts and uncles.

Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO followed by burial in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be John Hamblen, Sean Hamblen, Phillip Frey, David Johnson, Randy Honeycutt, and Jeff Honeycutt.
