Katherine Sue Orr-Griffin, age 76, of Starke, FL was born April 29, 1939 and passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. She was born in Alton, MO moving to Starke, FL thirty-eight years ago from Jacksonville, FL. She was a homemaker and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Jacksonville. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Griffin, her parents, Fred Orr and Alma Jones-Orr, a daughter, Kimbery Brown and a brother, Dwight Orr. She is survived by one son, Robert “Robbie” Smith, Alton, MO; two daughters, Julia (Ronnie) King and Norma Hall both of Starke, FL; four brothers, Vernon Orr, Richard Orr, Ralph Orr all of Alton, MO and Phillip Orr, Alpena, AR; two sisters, Myrtle Little and Shirley Hufstedler both of Alton, MO; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M Sunday, August 30, 2015 in the Clary Funeral Home Chapel in Alton, MO with visitation Saturday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Huddleston Cemetery. |
