Albert Lee Braden “Sam” Case, was born May 22, 1933 in Elkton, KY, and passed away August 8, 2015 at the St. Vincent Hospital, Little Rock, AR. He is survived by: 6 children, Dianna Bird, Jeana Blackford and husband David, Jackie Savage and husband Harvey, Jeff Case and wife Penny, Mike Case and wife Jennifer, all of Mammoth Spring, AR, and Alissa Kalb and husband Greg of Thayer, MO; 56 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Sam was born in Elkton, KY, then moved to Mammoth Spring in 1972, where he owned Sam’s Tire Service until his retirement. He then worked at Garnett’s Wood Products until his death. He loved messing with old cars, fixing them up to resell, and was a huge St. Louis Cardinal’s fan. He attended Word of Life Tabernacle in Hardy, AR. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and raised his family to serve the Lord also. He will be missed by many, but is happy, and is where he has wanted to be since the loss of the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Nancy Case, who preceded him in death in 2013. Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the 1st Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring, AR, with Bro. Braden Savage, Bro. Mike Price and Bro. Joe Reynolds officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO. |
