Ruth Pearl Froshour Elliott was born to George W. Froshour and Alma Massey Froshour in Oktibbeha Co. Mississippi on August 15, 1907. She departed this life on May 23, 2015 at Shepherds View in Alton, Mo.

She was united in holy matrimony on May 28, 1939 (76 years ago today) to Nathen Edgar Elliott. To this union three children were born; Robert, Ernest, and Janice. Nathen and Ernest preceded her in death.

Ruth had a total of nine siblings whom all preceded her in death. She was one of two sets of twins in her family. Her twin was Rosie and the other twins were Kenny and Minnie.

One beloved sister-in-law Berline Froshour remains and resides in Millstadt, Illinois.

Robert gave her five grandchildren- Sherry, Virginia, Christina (deceased), Robin, and Nathen.

Sherry and Shawn Middleton blessed her with two great grandchildren Brandy and Clayton.

Virginia and George Gazaway blessed her with eight great grandchildren Amber, Brittany, Courtney and Seth Owens, Hannah, Hunter, Arianna, Taylor, and Matthew. She is blessed with four great –great grandchildren Preston, Kassidy, and Korey from Amber and BJ Reynolds and Khloe from Brittany and William Barbee.

Robin Elliott blessed her with three great grandchildren Amanda, Scotti, and Jessica. She is blessed with two great-great grandchildren Makayla from Amanda Elliott and Liam from Scotti Boii.

Robert Nathen and Bobbie Elliott blessed her with three great grandchildren Katie, Emily, and Nathen.

She was a devoted grandmother and was a light and love to all of these children and their children’s lives. She was always there for them, as they were for her.
Robert also brought two devoted daughter-in-laws Helen Eplin and with Ruth N. Elliott. She loved both dearly, as dearly as they loved her unconditionally.

Ruth was a member of a large family whom she loved and cherished as they did her. She taught each of the love of Jesus and the promise of heavens gain. As we celebrate her life and teachings we will be forever blessed and thankful to God for the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
