James “Jimmy” Gee, age 71 of Koshkonong, MO, was born June 9, 1943, in Denver, CO, and passed away March 28, 2015, at Brookehaven Healthcare in West Plains, MO. Survivors include: two daughters, Rhonda Gee and Renee Douglas; one brother, Richard E. Gee and wife Jeanette of Ames, IA; one sister, Betty L. Reynolds and husband Ronald L. Reynolds of Koshkonong, MO; three special nephews, Ronnie, Steve and Gregg Reynolds; several other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, James “Bill” Curtis and Ruth “Pat” Patricia Lavley-Gee. Jimmy loved to hunt and fish and his father was a government trapper and hunter so he was well acquainted to this life. He graduated from Hot Springs High School in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, where he was very active in sports and especially football. Later he moved to Koshkonong and lived on his father’s farm. Jimmy was a trucker and the last years worked for Wilcox Truck Line until he retired due to his health. He enjoyed visiting with people and telling stories and laughing. Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with visitation 10am-11am Tuesday just prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Wayside Cemetery.
