Cozet Evelyn Copus Johnson, age 74, of Thayer, MO, was born on November 24, 1940, in Randolph County, AR, and passed away on March 16, 2015, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. She was united in marriage to Glenn Lee Johnson on July 27, 1959, in Alton, MO. She is survived by: her husband, Glenn, of the home; 1 brother, Milburn Copus and wife Ethel of Hardy, AR; two sisters, Nellie Gray and husband Bill of Nixa, MO, and June Cox of Mountain Home, AR; 7 children, Kay Reynolds and Brian Bryant of Killdeer, ND, Ray Johnson of Thayer, MO, Fay Skelton and husband Oren of Thayer, MO, Paul Johnson and wife Brandy of Thayer, MO, John Johnson of Thayer, MO, Tay Wise & Jeff Bowers of Thayer, MO, and Bud Johnson and wife Angela of Koshkonong, MO; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Ira and Valley (Scott) Copus; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 1 grandson; and 1 granddaughter. She will be dearly missed by many friends and family. Graveside services will be 10am Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the Clifton Cemetery in Thayer, MO, with Bro. John Holesapple officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
