Vanessa Mae Rackley Clayton Reed, age 53 of Gatewood, MO was born May 9, 1961 in Thayer, MO and passed February 10, 2015 at her home. Survivors include; one daughter, Brandy Nichols and Ashley Nichols, two sons, Brandon Clayton and Bobby Clayton, her mother, Mary Ann Rackley, one brother, David Rackley, four sisters, Rhonda Middleton, Elaine Johnson, Melinda Wray and Irma Thomas, special sis-in-law, Kathy White, many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John D. Rackley, husband’s Dennis Clayton and Trapper Reed, maternal grandparents, Cleo and Zella Barton. Vanessa was a dedicated nurse for many years and loved taking care of others. She loved the outdoors, her family, camping, fishing and sitting by the river. A memorial service will be 7:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Donnie Jeffers officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family and/or The American Cancer Society. |
