Wain Smith, age 71 of Alton, MO. was born March 26, 1943 in Alton, MO and passed away February 6, 2015 at his home. He was united in marriage to Ruby Sisco- Smith on September 1961, who survives. Other survivors include, children Deborah Sweany and husband Charlie, Rocky Wayne Smith and wife Ilene, grandchildren, Katrina Sweany, Jamie Sweany, Jennifer Smith and Jake Smith, sister, Jewel Williams, numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie and Ethel Blankenship-Smith, siblings, Hazel Sisco, Gene Smith, Helen Frost, Minnie Bates and Bea Sisco. Wain lived his entire life in Alton, attended school at Oak Hill, worked and made his living with timber, loved to hunt, fish, and spending time with his dogs and other animals. Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. JR Andrews officiating burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, noon-until service time. |
