Born in Newberg, Oregon on July 16, 1949, Luther Randall Stacey (Known to most as Randy Stacey) passed away at the age of 65 shortly after midnight on Friday, January 9, 2015 at his home in Thayer, Missouri.

Randy grew up in the Dayton, Oregon area and graduated from Dayton high school. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly and honorably served his country in Viet Nam.

Randy was an accomplished musician, having spent several decades as the bass player in a popular Pacific Northwest band known as Crossroads. It was impossible to be around Randy without cracking a smile as he had an amazing sense of humor and was well known for cracking jokes! It’s a toss-up as to which he loved more… music or fishing.
Randy was preceded in death by his Father, Luther Stacey SR., his Mother, Maxine Stacey, and three sisters, Nancy, Linda and Debbie. He is survived by his wife, Lois Stacey, one sister, Diana Stacey, one daughter, Charlotte Stacey, one son, Luke Stacey, two granddaughters, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held in Dayton, Oregon and a delayed private interment will be held in Woodland, Ca.
