Riley Stone “Rusty” Thompson, age 81 of Riverton, MO was born March 13, 1933 in the Piney Community and passed away October 28, 2014 at his home.

Survivors include; three children, Barbara Hutson, Pam Ruminer, Jim Thompson and wife Kristie, five grandchildren, Trent, Tyler, Jimmy, Riley and Jerry, four step-grandchildren, Levi, Hunter, Michael and Adam, two great-grandchildren, Rusty and Carly, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Harvey Verner Thompson and Effie Hammon Thompson, his wife, Marion Louise Barton Thompson, a son-in-law, Murrel Ruminer and 12 brothers and sisters.

Services will be 10:00 am Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Riverton Church with Bro. Jim Thompson officiating, with burial to follow in the Riverton Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
