Anita Estelee (Prewitt) Earls, age 79 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born June 7, 1935, in Strawberry, AR, and passed away July 30, 2014, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. Anita was born the daughter of Estel and Lafon (Price) Prewitt, and married Norman Earls June 21, 1952, and enjoyed 62 years together.

Mrs. Earls worked as a secretary for Mammoth Spring School District for 24 years and was co-owner/operator of Earls Factory Outlet in Mammoth Spring, AR, for 10 years. She loved her family, working in her flowers, gardening and traveling. She especially loved her many varieties of roses. She was valedictorian of her graduating class in May, 1952.

Survivors include: her husband, Norman; 1 son, Nicky Earls and wife Karen Sue of Mammoth Spring, AR; 1 daughter, Norma Robertson and husband Harold of Thayer, MO; 1 brother, John Smith of Evening Shade, AR; she loved and enjoyed her 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Lafon (Price) Prewitt.

Graveside services will be 11am Friday, August 1, 2014, at the Moten Cemetery with Bro. Samuel Simmonds officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
