Darrell Odessie Pendergrass, age 79 of Thayer, MO, was born March 27, 1934, in Ballard, AR, and passed away October 6, 2013, at his home.

Survivors include: 2 daughters, DeAnna Johnson and husband Russell, and Carol Jasper and husband Jeff; 1 son, Wendell Holloway and wife Laura; 7 grandchildren, Adam and Austin Johnson, Brittney and Jessica Michaels, Ken and Michael Brown, and Cody Holloway; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaden Johnson and Cadence Brown; a niece Darlene Slater and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Earl and Willie (Ables) Pendergrass; 2 daughters, Wanda Brown and Lois Gail Pendergrass.

Darrell's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes to buried at a later date by his family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
