Nellie Mae (Warren) McClanahan, age 87 of Alton, MO, was born February 28, 1926, in Oregon County, Missouri, and passed away July 27, 2013, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: 3 daughters, Sue Deckard of Alton, MO, Evelyn Spring of Rockford, IL, and Rhonda McClanahan of Alton, MO; 5 sons, Gary McClanahan and wife Freda of Alton, MO, Larry McClanahan of Alton, MO, Jerry McClanahan of Alton, MO, Bobby McClanahan and wife Kathy of Alton, MO, and Danny McClanahan and wife Darlene of Alton, MO; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dorothy Chester and husband Otis, and Linda Dzika and Fred Hepner; 1 brother, Albert Warren and wife Cherri; her special friends Lillie Lundry and Boyd Bates; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Noel; her parents, Otto and Ada (Shipman) Warren; 2 brothers, Major Warren and Max Warren; 1 son-in-law, Bill Spring; and an infant sister.

Services will be 10am Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Sunday, July 28, 2013.
