Wesley Thomas Simpson, age 90 of Alton, MO, was born September 25, 1922, in the Many Springs Community, and passed away July 18, 2013, at Shepherd’s View in Alton, MO. Survivors include: 2 children, Jeff Simpson of Alton, and Pamela Darwin of Willard, MO; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey Jr., Jill, Bailey and Jack Simpson, Keshia and Levi Britian, and Justice Darwin; 3 great-grandchildren, Craig, Maucia, and Tionna; a special niece, Brenda Mokrohisky; and numerous other cherished nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by: his wife of 67 years, Joyce; his parents, Roy and Nettie (Johnson) Simpson; a granddaughter, Portia Barton; his 5 brothers, Paul Simpson, Bob Simpson, Ellis Simpson, Dow Simpson, and Lance Simpson. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with burial following in the Many Springs Cemetery with Bro. Edward Casey officiating. |
