Nelson Lee Carroll, age 73 of Alton, MO was born September 22, 1939 in Rome, MO and passed away May 20, 2013 at his home. Survivors include; his wife Doris of the home, two daughters, Michelle Burke of Auburn, CA, Erika Carroll of Hannibal, MO, nine grandchildren, Christina, Kevin, Crystal, Keith, Charlie, Michelle, Michael, Rachael and Amber, two great-grandchildren, Kenneth and Evelyn Rose, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carroll and Ora Keen-Carroll. Nelson was a veteran, serving overseas with the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Services will be at 11:00am Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Many Springs Church with Bro. Bob Wiggs and Bro. Michael Barton officiating, with visitation Thursday, 6:00-8:00pm a the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Burial will be in the Many Springs Cemetery. |
