Bennie Juanita Smith, age 92 of Thayer, MO, was born January 16, 1921, in Fort Worth, TX, and passed away February 27, 2013, at the Shady Oaks Nursing Home in Thayer, MO. Survivors include: 2 sons, Chester B. Marshall and wife Fern of Thayer, MO, and Charles M. Marshall and wife Loretta of Cave Junction, OR; 4 grandchildren, Brent Marshall and wife Jamie of Melbourne, AR, Marquis Marshall and wife Quendy of Washington, Niel Marshall and wife Susie of California, and Marlee Caulkins of California; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: 2 husbands, Charles W. Marshall and Lamar Smith. Graveside services will be 2pm Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Cotton Creek Cemetery with Bro. Anthony Woods officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
