Mary Blanche (Cloven) Burkhead, born May 31, 1922, took Jesus’ hand on January 10, 2013 to sit at His feet for eternity.

She joined her beloved husband, Wilburn Burkhead, granddaughter, Angela (Burkhead) Sorrell, grandson, Wayne Chrismer, four brothers, two sisters and a host of other family and friends.

Blanche is survived by children, Bill (Sue) Burkhead, Carl (Shirley) Burkhead, Lonnie (Connie) Burkhead, Linda (Bernard) O’Toole, Vera (Bob) Chrismer, Lois (Dennis) Sutton, Betty (Gene) Owen, Wilma (John) Madrid, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:00am Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Clary Funeral Home,l Alton, MO with Bro. David Honeycutt and Bro. Wayne Cloven officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00-8:00p, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Burkhead, Jason Burkhead, Matt Burkhead, Jeff Owen, Aaron Madrid and Darren Sorrell, honorary pallbearers will be Joey Owen, John O’Toole, Jesse Tweedy, David Sorrell and Brad Burkhead.
