Elbert Jesse Hollis, age 84 of Alton, MO was born July 20, 1928 in Oregon County, MO and passed away December 11, 2012 at NHC, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; two daughters, Janice Wheeler of Alton, MO, Judy Barton of West Plains, MO, six grandchildren, Jesse, Chris, Michael, Kim and Allen, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Frances Hollis of Alton, MO, two brothers, Waif Hollis of Independence, MO and Kenneth Hollis of Alton, MO, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Elbert Sherrill Hollis and Rhoda Frost-Hollis, his wife, Ester Smith-Hollis, and a great-grandson, Cody. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Hollis Cemetery with Bro. Bob Wiggs officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. |
