Gayle W. Shamp, Jr, age 70, was born February 18, 1942, and passed away November 5, 2012, at his home in Independence, MO. Survivors include: his daughters, Gayla Ann Shamp of Independence, MO, Michelle Lea Shamp of Kansas City, KS, and Christy Burris of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren, Dawn Bryson, Rachel Bryson, Vincent Yepez Shamp, Rosalie Shamp, Michael Volland, Patricia Burris, and Gabriel Toledano-Shamp; 3 sisters, Diana Shamp, Val Green, and Christine Shamp; 3 brothers, Gary Shamp, Stacey Shamp, and Rick Shamp; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Rosalie Shamp; his parents, Gayle W. and Doris Shamp; a daughter, Vonda Bryson; a brother, Jerry Shamp. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
