Paga Ann Belongy, age 58 of Springfield, MO, was born January 5, 1954, in Thayer, MO, and passed away August 5, 2012, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.

Survivors include: her parents, Ronald and Bette (Hinkle) Belongy of Thayer, MO; her daughter, Paga Elizabeth Le’Ann Belongy of Springfield, MO; 1 grandson, Hunter Belongy of Springfield, MO; 2 sisters, Rona Keniston and husband Richard of Marshfield, MO and Tara Glenn and husband Ernie of Springfield, MO; 2 brothers, Page Belongy and wife Peggy of Belleville, IL and Bill Belongy and wife Sharon of Thayer, MO; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents, E.H. and Ruth Belongy; her maternal grandparents, L.R. and Emma Hinkle; and 3 uncles, Roy Hinkle, Willard Hinkle, and Mike Belongy.

Paga was a Christian and was a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield, MO.

Services will be 2pm Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Gerald Bounds and Bro. Andy Thornton officiating, and Tom Sleeth singing. Burial will be in the Thayer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations for Hunter Belongy can be left with Lisa Cates at the Bank of Thayer.
