Rhonda Kay Ross, age 57 of Springfield, MO, passed peacefully from this life at Mercy Villa Nursing Home with family at her side on July 17, 2012, after a long, courageous battle with brain cancer. Rhonda was born January 3, 1955, in Rapid City, SD, to Ann and Bob Ross. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Ross. During her 14 year career at French’s she met Bob Hampton and they were married for 25 years. Rhonda leaves behind: her father, Bob Ross of Thayer, MO; a brother, Brian Ross of Thayer, MO; a sister, Wanda Fielder of Springfield, MO; a daughter, Kim Bussard; and two grandchildren, Hunter and Colton Bussard (Rhonda loved her two boys). Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, July 20, 2012, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Pastor Terry Cunningham officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-11am Friday, prior to the service. |
