Callie Mary Lee Chronister, age 90 of Alton, MO was born April 6, 1922 at Myrtle, MO and passed away July 10, 2012 at Shepherds View Assisted Living, Alton, MO.

Survivors include; her husband, Granville Chronister, one son, Roger Bell and LaDean, one daughter, Sheila Brown and Junior, three step-sons, George, Tom and Don, one sister, Nellie Miner, one son-in-law, Lee Roy O’Neal, one sister-in-law, Ila Pingleton, eight grandchildren, Beth Wiggs and Maurice, Christa Brown and Randy, Jessie Caudel, Micco Bell and Brandi, Ricky O’Neal and Kim, Laura Massey and Tim, Alicia Roberts and Kalan, Casondra Pointer and Tom, 16 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Miller and Jared, Alex Wiggs, Stephanie Zasprow, Amber Pacitc and Ben, Bobby Harvey, JR, Trista Bell, Kyle Bell, Whitney Caudel, Alexis Caudel, Micah Caudel, Kimmie O’Neal, Ricky O’Neal, Kathleen Seamon, Alyssa Roberts, Makaylah Roberts, Sawyer Roberts, Callie Pointer, Keegan Massey, five great-great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lakyn, Nevaeh, Skyla and Zalen, Rylie, 3 step-great-grandchildren Randell, Jonathan and Kala, and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Bessie Cox Pingleton, a husband, Lilburn Bell, two sons, Max and Ricky Bell, one daughter, Kathryn O’Neal, two brothers, Howard and Noel Pingleton, two sisters, Daisy Hooper and Davie Sifford.

Services will be 2:00pm Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, with Bro. Jerry Richardson and Bro. Darrell Strain officiating, burial in the Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
