Dolores Jane Russell, age 75 of Alton, MO, was born February 5, 1937, in Chicago, IL, and passed away June 16, 2012, at the Brookehaven Nursing Center in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: 2 daughters, Dolores “Dee” Burkhead of Alton, MO, and Anne Marie Russell-Skeene and husband Joseph of Columbia, MO; 2 grandchildren, Heather Deckard and Dwight Deckard; 1 great-grandchild, William Noah Pearson; 2 sisters, Virginia Weimer and Charlotte Hargis; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, E. L. “Russ” Russell; her parents, Nicholas and Mary (Kujawinski) Nowacki; 1 daughter, Mary Katherine Russell; and 1 brother, Nicholas Nowacki, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with Deacon Patrick Keefe officiating, and burial in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9am-11am, just prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
