Mary Jane Dukes, age 89 of Thayer, MO, was born February 25, 1922, in Francesville, IN, and passed away November 30, 2011, in West Plains, MO. She is survived by: 1 daughter, Ruth Jewell and husband Henry of Thayer, MO; 1 son, Carl R. Weddle of Lehigh Acres, FL; one brother Gerald A. Dukes and wife Betty of Indianapolis, IN; 6 grandchildren, Steve, Russel and wife Rebecca, Elizabeth and husband Scott, Mary Jane and husband Shawn, Joshua, and Jessica; 7 great-grandchildren, Stephen and wife Jessica, Dana, Nick, Sarah, Hudson, Jeffery, and Zachary; 1 great-great-grandson, Landry; and numerous other friends and relatives. She is preceded by: her parents, Fred A. Dukes and Gladys Iva Engles; her daughter, Linda L. Jones; her brother, Fred, Jr.; and 2 nephews. Services will be 10am Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Friday, December 2, 2011, at the Clary Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
