Wendell Calfee, son of the late George Calfee and Ritter Adams Calfee, was born June 30, 1929 in Blackie, KY and passed away October 11, 2011 at the Ozarks Medical Center at the age of 82 years. Survivors include; his wife Mary of the home, five children, Betty Minich and husband Dean of Alton, MO, Laura Ruth Esterle and husband Jeff of West Plains, MO, James Alan Calfee and wife Ronda of Nixa, MO, John Walter Calfee and wife Robin of Columbia, MO, Susan Kathleen Hedden and husband Jeff, of Thayer, MO, 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery with Pastor Loren Whetsell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. |
