Charles Lewis Bird, age 75 of Alton, MO was born August 24, 1935 in Clendenin, WV and passed away August 16, 2011 at the Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; his wife Josie Bird of the home, one daughter, Charlotte Parker and husband Rick of Aurora, CO, two step-sons, Michael Vigil and wife Danita of Littleton, CO, Robert and wife Rita, of Englewood, CO, one brother, James Bird, four sisters, Franceline Starcher, Imogene Welch, Rosann Keiffer and Betty Halstead, four grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Bird and Orma Crihfield Bird, one daughter, Cindy, one step-son, Tim, one step-daughter, Debbie and one brother David. Graveside services will be 11:00am Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Huddleston Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. |
