Thomas Wendell Johnson, was born September 29, 1954 in West Plains, MO to Wendell and Doris Griffith Johnson and departed this life at his home April 2, 2011 at the age of 56 years.

Tom attended Alton School and graduated with the class of 1973. He was united in marriage November 4, 1973 to Diane Hill at Wilderness, MO. He was a life long farmer, hunter and fisherman, and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include; his wife Diane of the family home, his daughters, Anna Heck and husband Justin of Rover, MO, Alice Miller of Raeford, N.C., seven grandchildren Jordyn, Jed and Eden Edwards, Cainan and Laiken Heck, Kendell and Gage Sisco, his mother, Doris Johnson of Alton, MO, two brothers, Joe Johnson and wife Kristi of Clever, MO, Robert Johnson and wife Elaine of Alton, MO, his mother-in-law, Gertie Hill of Wilderness, MO, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many friends and hunting buddies.

Preceding him in death was his father, Wendell Johnson, his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Ellen Johnson, his maternal grandparents, Jeff and Alice Griffith, all of Alton, MO, his father-in-law, W.C. Hill, JR of Wilderness, MO.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 10:00am at the Huddleston Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Richardson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Braswell, Bill Cotton, Johnny Cotton, Bill Young, Charles Alford and Rob Blankenship.
