Bertha Mae (Tuttle) Bair, age 87 of Thayer, MO, was born June 1, 1923, in Macon, IL, and passed away March 14, 2011, at the Shady Oaks Health Care in Thayer, MO. She is survived by: 3 daughters, Linda Wise and husband Larry of Koshkonong, MO, Margie Van Dolah and husband Dick of Thayer, MO, and Wanda Rice and husband John of Decatur, IL; 2 sons, Wesley Bair and wife Andrea of Thayer, MO, and Luther Bair and wife Cathie of Thayer, MO; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Wesley Bair; her parents, Lewis and Bertha Elizabeth (Bitter) Tuttle; and 1 grandson, Warren Wise; 8 brothers, Harley, Homer, Benny, Bill, Levi, Lawson, Woody, and Otis. A graveside memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Jerry Arnold officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Three Rivers Hospice or Shady Oaks Healthcare. |
