Harold Dean Stogsdill, age 77 of Alton, MO was born July 29, 1933 in Oregon County, MO and passed away March 10, 2011 at his home. Harold served in the United States Army, and was stationed in Norfolk, VA. He was a retired factory worker in St. Louis. Survivors include; his wife Pearl of the home, seven children, Harold Gene Stogsdill of Rogersville, AL, June Corbin of Ethridge, TN, Janet Francisco of Longview, TX, Alice Staggs of Columbia, TN, Jennifer Brosig of Doniphan, MO, Nolan Dean Stogsdill of St. Clair, MO, and Freda Rogers of Alton, MO two brothers, Kenneth Stogsdill and wife Emma Lou of Alton, MO and Hugh Stogsdill and wife Eunice of Bourbon, MO, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie Stogsdill and Mae Rice Stogsdill, 2 wives, Colleen and Delores and one sister, Fern Freeman. Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, with burial in the Cave Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. |
