Archie James Sparkes, age 82 of Alton, MO was born July 28, 1928 in Clinton, MO and passed away January 8, 2011 in Springfield, MO. Survivors include; his wife Loraine, one daughter, Elizabeth, two brothers, Harold and James, three sisters, Wilma, Irene and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Earl Sparkes and Elizabeth H. Lestmeistr Sparkes, two sons and one daughter. A memorial service will be at 10:00am Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. A veteran of the Korean War, following cremation, burial will be in the National Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alton Public Library. |
