Eula Faye Janes, age 82 of Thayer, MO, was born February 21, 1928, near Ash Flat, AR, and passed away May 20, 2010, at Shady Oaks Healthcare in Thayer, MO.

She was united in marriage to William Leonard Janes May 25, 1946, in Salem, AR, who survives. Other survivors include: three daughters, Wilma Rogers of Mammoth Spring, AR, Deborah Haynes of Thayer, MO, Rosemary Ramsey and husband Eddie of Thayer, MO; one brother, Jessie Martin and wife Clara of Mammoth Spring, AR; one brother-in-law, Glen Janes and wife Geneva of Williford, AR; two sister-in-laws, Irene Janes Childers and Charleen Janes, both of Thayer, MO; four grandchildren, Wesley Rogers, Michael Ramsey, Brandon Haynes, Brad Haynes; seven great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were: her parents, Isaac Martin and Rebecca Rogers Martin; three brothers, Earnest, Boyd, and Delmas Martin; four sisters, Zelna Taliaferro, Wilma Kinsey, Ima Lee Gilmore, Ruby Dunn; and one son-in-law, Douglas Rogers.

She lived a quiet life, devoted to family and friends. She worked many years and retired as a cook at the Thayer school. She was a member of the Thayer Freewill Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be 10:00am Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Thayer Cemetery with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating. Family night will be 5:00pm-6:00pm Friday evening. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
