Deborah Jean Harris, age 51 of Salem, AR was born August 7, 1958 in Sterling, IL and passed away May 4, 2010 in Springfield, MO.

Survivors include: her husband, Tim of the home; three children, Rachel Ann Carter Henderson of Danielsville, GA, Rebekah Lyn Carter of Jonesboro, AR, Timothy Paul Harris of Salem, AR; three granddaughters, Alexxis, Tavia and Emma; one sister, Carmen Healy of Sterling, IL; her parents, Gene and Joyce (Roselieb) Anderson of Rock Falls, IL; one nephew, Kyle Anderson of Sterling, IL; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Debbie loved cats, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard, taking care of her chickens, and had started her first garden this year. She also enjoyed fishing and watching birds on her many feeders and loved her job as cook at Fulton County Hospital. Southern Gospel was her favorite music to listen to and she also loved Johnny Cash.

She went to Peru on a mission trip with her church in 2008 and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, sister and aunt who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the simple things. She will be greatly missed by those left behind, but is enjoying her mansion built for her in Glory.


Services will be 2pm Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Franklin Baptist Church, Franklin, AR, with Bro. Robert Norton officiating. Interment will be in the Field Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Mammoth Spring, AR.
