Irene Josie Williams, age 87 of Alton, MO, was born December 29, 1922, in Missouri and passed away April 30, 2010, in Mountain Home, AR. Survivors include: 3 daughters, Doris Seiss and husband Eugene of Alton, MO, Janice Andrews and husband JR of Alton, MO, Barbara Nix and husband Roy of Alton, MO; 1 son, Roger Williams and wife Reba of West Plains, MO; one sister, Lela; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Jake Storms and Hattie Melton Storms; her husband, Theo Williams; three brothers, Grover, Donald and Golden; and three sisters, Roxie, Leona and Dorothy. Irene was a good wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Christian, and a member of the Riverton Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed. Services will be 2pm Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, with Bro. David Case officiating, with interment following in the Riverton Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO. |
