Debbie L. Janes, age of 52 of Alton, MO was born July 20, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and passed away April 7, 2010 at the Ozarks Medical Center.

She was united in marriage to Leon Janes in 1995 at Falling Springs, Mark Twain National Forest. She helped run and manage Argo’s Trading Post for 17 years with her parents. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, horseback riding and spending time on the river with family and friends.

Debbie is survived by her husband Leon Janes, parents Don and Frances Argo of Harrisonville, MO, three daughters, Melinda (Lawrence) Dray of Smithville, MO, Stephanie (Chris) Martin of Trimble, MO, and Laura (Adam) Nelson of Smithville, MO, sister, Denise Denney of Ozark, MO, brother, David Argo of TX, brother-in-laws, Jimmie, Larry and Leland Janes, sister-in-laws, Judy Springer, Marie Willard, Barbara Adams, Karen Faye Brewer, Brenda Armstead, Darlene Dills and Becky Granger, five grandchildren, Sierra and Shelby Dray, Kurstin Martin, Lauren and Jacob Nelson, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Dale Martin SR officiating, with burial in the Arytown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mac Bates, Jimmie Janes, Leland Janes, Jason Janes, Brandon Willard and David Stevens. Dinner to follow at the Alton Assembly of God Church.

In lieu of flowers, to assist with medical and funeral expenses, donations can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
