Lynna Mae Dodson, age 79 of Thayer, MO, was born January 13, 1931 in Oregon County, MO and passed March 14, 2010 in Jonesboro, AR. Survivors include; two sisters, Ruby Armour of Mammoth Spring, AR and Patsy Zwald of Beloit, WI, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and other relatives and friends. She was united in marriage to JR Dodson on December 23, 1950, and Wayne Pigg on September 12, 1994, who both preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Fate Johnson and Edna Rackley Johnson, one brother, Edward Johnson and one sister, Peggy Ring. Lynna loved spending time with her family on the Eleven Point River. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and Sunday rides looking for wildlife. Services will be 11:00 Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO, with Bro. Charles Tranthan officiating, burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pmTuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers, Josh Garrison, Dustin and David Walters, Mike and Mark Rackley and Mark Johnson. |
