Harold Dean Dunham, age 62 of Alton, MO was born July 29, 1947 at Alton, MO and passed away November 6, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. On December 29, 1969, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Marie Cook at St. Louis, MO. Survivors include; his wife, Marilyn of the home, his granddaughter, Megan Marie Dotson and husband Zachary of Thomasville, MO, his grandson, Ethan Daniel Granger of Alton, MO, his sister, Maxine Hollis of Troy, MO, his brother, Sherman Dunham and wife Shirley of Pell City, AL, his sister-in-law, Glenna Blankenship and husband Joe of Alton, MO, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were; his son, Lee Wayne Dunham, his great-grandson, Miles Grant Dotson, his father and mother, Leon and Hazel Dunham, his father and mother-in-law, Roll and Ruth Cook. Harold was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. He loved life and deeply enjoyed the company of family and friends. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Harold loved to shoot his bow, to hunt and enjoyed the company of his many hunting buddies. Services will be 10:00am Monday, Novemver 9, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Joby Steele officiating, visitation Sunday 6:00-8:00pm. Burial will be in the Huddleston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Bob German, Jim Clark, Richard McGhee, Robert Caldwell and Billy Williams. Memorial contributions may be made to Huddleston Cemetery. |
