May Marie (Barnett) Gann, was born March 29, 1937, in Thayer, MO, and passed away October 15, 2009, at the White River Medical Center at the age of 72. Survivors include: 5 daughters, Gale Ary, Evelyn Pittman and husband Dan, Debbie Jones and Charlie Porter, Vickie Whited and husband Mike, and Nickie Bird; 3 sons, Melvin Gann and wife Angel, Bill Gann and wife Barbara, and Jimmy Gann; 2 step-daughters, Lynn Atkinson, and Gloria Kokstrom; 3 step-sons, Samuel Ray Gann and wife Betty, Eddie Dean Gann, and Danny Gann and wife Lyla; 1 half brother, John Winkleman; 1 son-in-law, Curly Jones; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Allen Barnett and Marie Howell Barnett Fitzgerald; her husband, Melvin Dale Gann, Sr.; 1 sister, Willanette Moss; 1 brother, James Barnett; 3 infant daughters; 1 great-granddaughter. Services will be 2pm Monday, October 19, 2009, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Charles Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery. Family night will be 6pm-8pm Sunday, October 18, 2009. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. |
