George Franklin Leu, age 82 of Alton, MO, was born May 16, 1927, in the Norman Community, and passed away October 1, 2009, at his home. Survivors include: his wife, Margaret (Mitchell) Leu, of the home; 2 daughters, Aneata Alderson and husband Lawrence, and Alvera Loyd and husband Walt; 2 step sons, Raymond Lee Wiggs and wife Diana, and Jim Wiggs and wife Greta; 7 grandchildren, Russell, Angie, Becky, Heather, Jodi, Jenny, and Dani; 10 great-grandchildren, Campbell, Palmer, Kainan, Kristopher, Ashlynn, Alyssa, Braydon, Keely, Anika, and Onyx; 1 sister, Alice Johnson and husband Doyle; 1 sister-in-law, Secretha Leu; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Albert and Lucy (Grooms) Leu; his first wife, Mary Louise (Sandridge) Leu; and 1 brother, Sam Leu. Services will be 2pm Sunday, October 4, 2009, at the Clary Chapel in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Jack Smith officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Clary Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
