Lowell James Crownover, age 72 of Thayer, MO, was born August 27, 1937, in Wardell, MO, and passed away September 22, 2009, at his home. Survivors include: his wife, Hilda (Walther) Crownover, of the home; 3 daughters, Deborah Sims and husband Jon, Sherry Hollis-Eldred and husband Dwight, and Sandy Shaw; 1 son, James Randall Crownover and wife Jeannie; 8 grandchildren, Angie, Brandon, Josh, Chase, Chelsea, Kiesha, Travis, and Gavin; 2 great-grandchidlren, Madison and Riley; 1 sister, Carolyn Swanson; 2 brothers, Jerry Crownover and Raymond Crownover; and numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Lowell F. and Velma (Petty) Crownover. Services will be 2pm Monday, September 28, 2009, at the Clary Chapel in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be 2pm-4pm Sunday, September 27, 2009 in the Clary Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO. |
