James Kenneth Carson, age 80 of Alton, MO was born May 12, 1929 and passed away September 21, 2009 at the Shepherds View Residential Care, Alton, MO.

Survivors include; four brothers, Bobby Carson and wife Carolyn, Johnny Carson and wife Linda, Larry Carson and wife Sue, Charles Joseph Carson and wife Vicky, three daughters, Relita Lievsay and husband Richard, Yolonda Hite (late husband Lee), Tanya M. Carson, one son, James K. Carson, JR and wife Sharron eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many more family members, nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John H. Carson and Eathel E. Vaughn Carson, his wife, Helen Marie Luster Carson, bothers and sisters, Baby boy Carson, Carnedith Luster, Billy Dove, Lester “Buddy” Carson, Paul Carson, J.V. Carson, Duby Robertson, Kemper Todd “Butch” Carson, grandson, Shawn Eric Hite.

James was the third child of 13 kids. He was a member of Construction #13 Union, usually employed as a welder.

Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Thayer Cemetery with Bro. Mark Hodge officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
