Cleo Rogers, age 78 of Mammoth Spring, AR was born January 22, 1931 in Sharp County, AR and passed away September 21, 2009 at the Fulton County hospital, Salem, AR. Cleo was united in marriage to Mary Louise McHugh on September 29, 1950. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and bowler. Survivors include; his wife Mary of the home, three daughters, Janice Smith and Diana Ninemire, both of Mammoth Spring, AR, Norma Elder of Ashland City, TN, one son, Dennis Rogers of Mammoth Spring, AR, three sisters, Lola mills, Barbara Rogers and Mattie Hartwig, all of Thayer, MO, six grandsons, four granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Newton Zion Rogers and Merendi Lee Ivey Rogers, one daughter, Beverly Ann Rogers, three sisters, Neda Collins, Neva Watson and an infant sister, two brothers, Wilburn and Milburn Rogers. Services will be 10:00am Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO with Bro. Bill Manes and Bro. Robert Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Field Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. |
