Violet Marie Kirby, age 81 of Thayer, MO was born August 3, 1928 in Randolph County, AR and passed away September 8, 2009 at the Baxter County Hospice House, Mountain Home, AR. Survivors include; one son, Terry Kirby and wife Paula of Thayer, MO, one grandson, Kris Kirby and wife Cammie of Thayer, MO, one granddaughter, Stephanie Kirby of Mammoth Spring, AR, one daughter-in-law, Donna Kirby of Mammoth Spring, AR, and numerous other relatives and friends. Violet was united in marriage to Norman Kirby on March 14, 1946, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, George Ray Cantrell and Dellar Ann Kester Cantrell, her husband, Norman Kirby, one son, Gary Kirby and eight brothers and sisters, Iva, John, Leonard, Pauline, Ben, Walter, Ray June and Robert. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Thayer Cemetery with Bro. Erman Croney officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO. |
