Aletta Yvonne Brown Williams daughter of the late Everett and Leona Shelton Brown, died June 3, 2009 at her home in Bardley, Mo. She was born in Illinois on February 19, 1942. She had attained the age of 67 years and 3 months.

On October 5, 1957 she was united in marriage to Wayne Williams, and to this union 5 children were born. They were lifelong residents of Oregon County. Aletta loved being a mother and playing with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by 5 children; Benita and husband Wayne Campbell, Rose and husband Lynn Reynolds, Kenneth and wife Melody, Dennis and wife Karen, and Eric and wife Mandy. She is also survived by 4 grandsons; Nick and wife Jerri, Jeff and wife Amanda, Tim and Leeza, Noah; 4 Granddaughters Lynsey, Natalie and husband Steven, Myranda, Susie and husband Bill; 5 great-grandchildren Makayla, Ethan, Blake, Kendrick, and Damien. Her parents, husband, and 1 sister, Anna L. Smith, precede her in death.

She was a member of the Wilderness Church, a much-loved neighbor, and the “Granny” to many “adopted” children, and grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00am, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Wilderness Church with Bro. Chet Sisco officiating. Visitation will be
6:00-8:00pm, Friday at the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO. Burial will be in the Wilderness Cemetery under the direction of
Clary Funeral Home Alton, MO.
