Joseph Howard Callahan, age 67 of Thayer, MO, was born January 3, 1942 in Ottawa Illinois, and passed away May 29, 2009 at his home in Thayer, MO.

Joseph is survived by his wife Julia Callahan, 5 brothers; John Callahan and wife Norma of Ward, AR, Frank Callahan and wife Shirley of Arnold, MO, Otha Callahan and wife Angie of Ward, AR, Dennis Callahan and wife Kathy of Sonora, AR, Burdette Callahan and wife Debbie of Viola, AR, 3 sisters; Bethel Wymore and husband Bill of Piedmont, MO, Londell Eaton and husband Robert of Lonedell, MO, Eva Robinson and husband Jeff of Brockwell, AR, 2 daughters; Janet Witthuhn of Callaway NE, Lorie Hauser of Arnold, NE, 5 grand-children; Justin, Haden, and Taylor Giesen, Cory and Kelsey Hauser, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father Howard Callahan, and mother Lora Lee Mayberry Callahan.

Memorial services will be 7:00pm Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Mammoth Spring, AR.
