Edward Hayden “Ed” Huckabee, age 72 of Thayer, MO was born July 12, 1936 in Caraway, AR and passed away April 27, 2009 at the Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include; his wife Alice of the home, four children, Deloris Mannella of West Chicago, IL, Rick Huckabee of Thayer, MO, Brenda Huckabee of Gamaliel, AR, Gary Huckabee of St. Charles, IL, two brothers, Travis Huckabee of Jonesboro, AR, Frank Huckabee of Caraway, AR, two sisters, Nina Nichols of Caraway, AR and Mae Chaney of Jonesboro, AR, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hayden Huckabee and Letha Mae Dawson-Huckabee, wife Estell, three brothers, William, Robert and Neil Huckabee, four sisters, Jane, Jean, Jessie and Euvelene. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO with Bro. Darrell Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Arytown Cemetery. |
